AFT is proud to call Los Angeles home and in doing so recognizes the responsibility of living in a state suffering its 4th straight year in a drought.

AFT invites you to think about what water means for us as individuals, as a city, as a state, and as a member in the global community.

Water is such a precious commodity that not only washes our hands and dust covered cars, but grows our food, brings sustainability to regions, creates electrical power, decreases poverty through the range of services it provides, and helps keep both us and our planet living healthy and strong.

AS IMPORTANTLY, SAFE, CLEAN is the fuel that feeds our human body. It is the single source elixir of good heath, feed our physical, mental, emotional cell structure. Visit Waves for Water http://wavesforwater.org
Water has the ability to provide us with so many things but also has the limitations of doing so only when there is enough of it to go around. That is why AFT asks everyone to take a moment to think about all the things water provides for us and for you, and asks everyone to take a step in improving our use of such a limited precious good, because like all goods, water will only be here for as long as we take care of it. So whether you take a shorter shower, turn the tap off in-between rinsing those dishes, or let your car stay dusty for a few extra days in-between washes, let’s all find a way or 2 to reduce our use and reduce our waste in an effort to keep the beautiful blue gold around for all to enjoy!
