Kimberly Rath has over 25 years of experience in human resources and is a recognized leader in the field of executive development and human resources in the United States and Asia. Demonstrating a strong commitment to others, Rath helps clients reach their highest growth potential through talent-based strategies. As Talent Plus’ chairman, president and co-founder, she has driven the company’s growth that now includes an office not only in Lincoln, Nebraska, but also in Singapore.

Under her leadership, for three consecutive years Talent Plus ® was named one of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in the United States and for five consecutive years, one of the 50 Best Small & Medium Workplaces by the Great Place to Work Institute. Other growth achievements include:

The strategic development of the Quality Selection Process ® (QSP ®), with over 50 validated selection interviews in over 25 languages and the recent development of Talent Online ® Assessments for front-line selection and development.

The creation of Collaborative Coaching ®, Leadership Coaching and Leadership LatticeSM for the development and career planning of executives.

The actualization of TalentBank ®, an online human capital management system built on the talents and measurable performance of an organization’s associates.

Rath has provided executive management consulting and training to organizations globally, including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, the Estée Lauder Companies, Mercedes-Benz USA, DFS, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, UCLA Health System, Microsoft, Henry Ford West Bloomfield and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. She was a featured speaker at the Global Entropolis Singapore (GES) summit, a panelist for the Cornell Hospitality Research Summit and has spoken to leadership groups around the world on talent selection and development while working with CEOs and executives to create a brighter future.

Rath currently serves on Nelnet, Inc., Tabitha and Lincoln Community Foundation’s Board of Directors, and is a current member of Chief Executives Organization (CEO). Working with peers in Talent Plus’ industries of focus, health care and hospitality, Rath has served on The Beryl Institute Resource Advisory Council and the Center for Hospitality Research Advisory Board.
She has been the Education Chair for Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Rath is a passionate advocate for CARE and is a member of Nebraska Women’s Leadership Network (Nebraska Alumni Association’s mentors). She has been a member of the Lincoln City/County Child Care Advisory Board and provided leadership to the Executive Advisory Board for the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship. Among others, Rath was highlighted in the 2011 book, “Prescription for Excellence.” In 2013, Rath was presented the Business Excellence Award from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the Delta Gamma Shield Award (a national award). Prior to founding Talent Plus, Rath worked with The Gallup Organization for seven years. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
